I frankly don't care about the doping but they need to do what they have done with bodybuilding and weightlifting. Have a non-doping race and a doping race. Just admit they can't clean it up and level the playing field.
Ivan Basso, last years Giro winner is facing a 21 month ban for attempted doping and the 96 Tour d'France winner has just admitted to doping. What do they do strip him of the win and hand it to the sedond place winner, Jan Ullrich who is also implicated in doping.

Especially The Tour. Then, it becomes an OLlmpic sport, and everyone acts like it's some big bad thing that only a few "bad apples" do. Your idea is a good one.

and the whole thing makes me sick.
And I think Armstrong is as dirty as all of them.
What a shame. I used to be a big fan.
LeMond is a good guy, but no one will care.
