| What is the correct way to use Karl Rove's name as a adjective? |
|
Roveien? Rovish? Rovesque?
We have to turn the light on that nasty little maggot and his dirty tricks. I think we need to make his name synonymous with smear and lies. We need something quick and catchy that we can paint the right wing media liars with. We something along the line of McCarthyism. The Republicans are trying with Clintonesque, but I think that will fade. And besides, what exactly does it mean?
So what's the right way to use KKKarl's name?
Rovec? I kind of like that one
Rovi? Rovetic?

I think that is standard adjectival ending, one of them.
Rovi makes him sound plural, and we DON'T want that. Ick.

| 6. That's two for Rovian, what ever version gets the most support I'll use. |
|
kind of reminds me of English class: Spell Rovian and use it in a sentence.
Rovian, R O V I A N The Rovian writings of Drudge are as tasteless as they are lacking in facts, decency, and talent. Rovian
While never my favorite subject, it was never this nightmarish.

I like "Rovellean". Rovian was my first thought. Maybe we could use both. Rovian for more casual usage and Rovellean for more evil usage.
Great idea!!

2 entries found for rovian.
1)rovian \Ro*"vi*an\, adj. (Eccl. Hist.) One of a sect of Texamako Repukarians of the early 21st century. Most notably known for the voter fraud in the Presidential elections of 2000 which led to the Nov. 01, 2004 declaration of marshal law in the old USA.
Rovians were radical members of what historians call the "Wrong Wing". Wrong in thinking their chosen goal justified the use of any means. Wrong in their desire to usurp complete control of the government of the USA. Wrong in trying to destroy the constitution of the USA.*
2)aconstitutionalist \a'constitu'tionalist\, adj. Common Neo-Spanglish replacement for rovian of the Old English.
*The Rovian leaders Karl Rove, George W. Bush (George II), John Ashcroft, Tom Ridge and Donald Rumsfeld were brought to justice following the Great Techie Rebellion in the spring of 2006. Even the Rovians were helpless at the hands of an enraged Internet.
