Praying Hands You got your left hand You got your right hand The left hand’s diddling While the right hand goes to work You got both hands You got praying hands They pray for no man O.k....relax... Assume the position Go into doggie submission
Also I think Uncontrollable Urge might be about that subject too.

60's musical Hair, I don't remember the title, but the guy is singing about "sodomy, fellatio, cunnilingus; Father, why do these words sound so nasty? Masturbation can be fun! Join the holy orgy Kama Sutra everyone!"

a great soundtrack, and I love the Frank Mills song, too! I like the Broadway album, though, I didn't like the movie at all, or what they did to the songs.

I thought Treat Williams did a great job with I GOT LIFE..in fact I like it better than the original...and Melba Moore's EASY TO BE HARD is one of my favorite versions of the song.
The movie itself wasn't too hot but those two performances were great and I DO like the soundtrack...*sniff* haven't found it on CD though.

been able to find the Broadway soundtrack on CD, either. I did, however, find it on cassette tape; it was just released last year with ALL of the songs (apparently not all were included in the original album).

Melba Moore sang the Age of Aquarius. Easy to be Hard was sung by Cheryl Barnes. She was amazing, too. It was the only movie she ever acted in.

is the title, according to my Original Broadway Cast Recording. By the way it's:
"sodomy, fellatio, cunnilingus, pederasty; Father, why do these words sound so nasty?..."
I'd prefer to do without the pederasty, thank you very much, but it does rhyme with nasty. ;)

missing a word in there, but I couldn't for the life of me think of what it was!
My parents played that album all the time between '68 and around '74 or so. I was only three when I first heard it, and remember later wondering what in the hell that song and half of the others meant, lol!

Though it's difficult to tell if it's about shaking hands with the bishop, or about an infant...and that's the beauty of it:
"Anytime you rise, I'm here, And I'm crazy for you pink thing. You make me want to laugh, You make me want to cry, When I stroke your head I feel a hundred heartbeats high, Pink thing.
I want to take you out and show you round the world, Pink thing it'll be OK. If I could only wake you from your slumber curled, Pink thing what would straight folks say?
Anytime you call, I'll fall, Into madness for you pink thing. You make me want to live. You make me want to die. And when I stroke your head I feel a hundred heartbeats high, Pink thing.
I want to take you out and show you to the girls, Pink thing they're a whole new tribe. If you could only see the way the way the gingham swirls, Pink thing it's a whole new vibe.
That man isn't fit to be a father. That man is a sinner, 'Fore they cast me down to die, Pink thing, spit in my eye, I'd love you for it. Yes, I'd love you for it."
Nyuk, nyuk.

i've known him all my life it seems so inconceviable at thirteen we shooks hands but we've been always inseparable he's cinnamon on my toast we're so close
that's not to say we haven't had our share of arguments he's so unpredictable he winks acknowledgments when i would rather he closed his eye than push me aside
my hand's a five leaf clover it's palm sunday over and over i never had the luck of swingers till i was wrapped around your finger
he's my best friend he's my best friend he's my best friend i'm his best friend he's my best friend
you don't need a brain to have a stroke of genius or a beautiful girl to let down your curls cause growing up is hard enough when your a powderkeg for powderpuffs (whether we're stayin' in or hanging out) i'd never ask another on a date to the ball he doesn't need a rubber sweater or alcohol cause he gets tipsy from exchanging looks and a little misty reading sticky blue dirty books

A great song about growing up in the NYC suburbs (Long Island).....
<snip>
Your sister's gone out. She's on a date You just sit at home and masturbate The phone is gonna ring soon but you just can't wait For that call
<snip>
When I was a kid, I would freak out when that song came on the local AOR radio station ("OMG, can they say that word???").
