The only other school I know with three mascots is Auburn Univeristy:

Tigers, War Eagles, Plainsmen

(though some will argue War Eagles is not a mascot, but at one time it was)

What are the only two days out of the year in which there is never a professional sporting event played? (again, as usual, soccer doesn't count)

The day before and the day after the All Star Game (baseball)

Too early for football (August start), too early for Hockey (October start ???), NBA Finals are over in June. Baseball All Star Games are usually in July.

I'm a really big sports nut (especially for a girl) so I usually do pretty good at this trivia stuff.

I can't tell you how many hours I spent in the car or sitting around the house with my dad and my little brother with my dad tossing questions at us..."where did so-and-so go to college"..."what's the mascot for such-and-such university"..."who holds the record for the most blah in a game" :-)
