I've got good news

Chest pain that I was sure was a heart attack was something called "pericarditis", an inflammation of the sac around the heart, apparently not altogether uncommon for people with heart murmurs (like me). Still nothing to mess with, but almost certainly not fatal!! Yay! I may be out of circulation (no pun...) for a few days. But it is SOOOO nice to know that I'm not dying. Cuz, frankly, I was afraid I was.

My best to all my lounge friends. I need to rest for a few days. I'll keep you posted! :hi:

7. I deserve that. It was kind of my own fault

I forgot to remind my new dentist that I needed an anti-biotic before dental work, because people with heart murmurs--get this--can get pericarditis if they have any invasive procedure (including dental work) without an antibiotic beforehand. I must admit, I never really believed it was dangerous, but always told my dentists anyway. I just didn't think it was a big deal. Turns out it is.

Won't do that again!!
