Not just a great singer, but someone who felt it was also his duty to help inspire and promote the next generation of musicians.

3. pancreatic cancer--nasty stuff |

I had an aunt die of pancreatic cancer about 30 or so years ago.... she died within 3 months of being diagnosed but they were 3 VERY ugly months.
I'm betting treatment is better now, but still.... nasty stuff.

Apparently he had surgery some time last year which enabled him to survive as long as he did. I'm sorry about your aunt. I HATE cancer.
