How can you resist this warm fuzzy puppy??? Ozzy is a six week old Black Lab/ Shepard mix. He is black in color with some brown markings. Ozzy does well with other dogs and also seems to like kids. Ozzy is at the Northwoods Humane Society in Iron River, Michigan. Last week they had adopted out all their dogs. This week they have like 10 or 11 of them again.

Though you might be better off calling. The lady who is pretty much 'in charge' is back in the hospital with a leg infection so I don't know how soon the mail would be answered.

Some people from another state made arrangements to have one of the dogs sent to them. I do not know how they were made, though.

I'm sure there must be ways to find assistance, though.

15. Many rescue groups can arrange transport.

I do transports at times for dogs and cats going from a shelter or foster to their forever homes. What they do is set up a relay. For instance, I will drive from the Atlanta area north to Calhoun and another transporter will take the dog from there to meet someone else in Tennessee. I did a transport not too long ago for 2 dogs that eventually got from South Georgia to their forever homes in Canada.

10. My Beta dog

was a mix just like this one. She was the smartest, most loving dog I have ever owned and I used to be a breeder of working dogs. After having Beta I would never go back to pedigree. She was so very healthy, always pleasant. Loved kids, other pets and yet knew when to be protective. Wish I wasnt in florida, cause I would adopt him.

23. That's what I try to do. Come up with ways to help homeless

and abandoned animals. I can't foster but I try to do transports whenever I can. And I do a lot of posting on the animal rescue group lists.
