I can honestly say that 99% of men completely befuddle me. But I only have to understand one to have a relationship. It's always about individuals for me.

I've long ago given up trying to understand anyone male or female. I relish the human mental experience of privacy and unpredictability. The day someone understands me better than I understand myself I better be dead. Because I'm nowhere near understanding myself yet.

17. It's a generalization and I don't like generalizations

It assumes that all men are basically the same and that all women are as well. Which is stupid.

There are plenty of men I understand just fine and plenty that I really don't. Same for women. I think it would be a very boring place if everyone were so predictable that I could understand them all.
