So I cashed in an 8-year collection of pocket change...

I got $63 for all of it, thought the sorting machine was gonna pack it in before it digested my 3056 pennies and other coins.
In addition toy the American coins, I also managed to pick up somewhere:
Several Canadian nickels
A 5-Pence piece
Some Canadian dimes,
5 Centavos from Mexico
and...
5 Baht from Thailand (?)

just plain ol' money.
Also, money that is "found" in old pants' pockets is almost as good.

5. I rolled some coins a while ago.

I stopped rolling at $65. I still have a huge jar full of coins. Then I find out my credit union has a machine that counts coins, free for members. D'oh! I might do that tomorrow.

7. We have funded several vacations on change...

We save all year...sometimes longer, and we can go stay a couple days in a nice hotel...Every time Skip gets something, he breaks a large bill, so he has a lot of it.

6. I turned in $500 in coins

a week ago. :crazy: Yes, I rolled them all, most with one of those electric sorters.

edit: That was quarters and dimes. Still have about $100 of pennies and nickles on the porch. Sorry, they're too heavy to lift all at once.
