because I fell in love with this other house nearby that in past years I never could have afforded; that has an even nicer view and has better soil to make a good garden; and of course has fallen in price a lot. I have 28 days to be in escrow (for sale of my house) or the deal gets squashed. Fortunately I bought many years ago, so I have some equity and can thus price mine reasonably. (houses that are priced reasonably do sell BTW, at lest around here in the Sierra foothills of CA). I've never entered this type of contigency before (i.e. having to stage a house and get it ready and clean so that any prospective can drop in on a phone call's notice) I'll let you know waht happens 28 days later! The MLS # is 073074 for those you who like to peek. I give thanks every day in my own way. So many unfortunate souls are losing their homes or are on the verge.

Good luck! I hope you get a good price on it, and can move into the home that more fits your dreams! :hi:
