1. That the Statue of Liberty's head is made of solid metal.
Last I heard, it was hollow and people could climb up into it and there was an observation deck in the crown.

2. yeah, why spend all the time and money on a special effect when
the audience response is "everyone knows the head of the Statue of Liberty is a lot bigger than that!"?
