I find all vodkas generally taste 'grainy' and sour. Is Chopin different. I'm more of a scotch drinker, myself. Jonny Black and pinch are my current favs. I just can't deny the warm charcoal flavor.

| 13. Kettle One is also excellent |
|
It's one of the smoothest I've ever had. I tasted a friend's drink (vodka on the rocks) and it went down like water. But it's about $20 a fifth where I live.

try Luksusova. I may have spelled that wrong. More expensive than the Goose. Tastes like water. Gets you messed up really quickly. Makes money disappear at an alarming rate. It's the Drink of the Gods.
on edit: added last sentence.

although I reccomended it a while back (maybe six months) I don't think I can claim your problem. Still, there is a simple solution: Hangar One. www.hangarone.com 30% distilled from Viongier, ohh, so tasty. worth every penny of the 40-50/fifth price tag.
disclaimer: I do not work for Hangar One, but I do sell it.
EDITED for spelling...
