Got to meet Springsteen the other day

for the second time-he has been eating at a restaurant that I am working at as a musician down here in Palm Beach County.This is my second time meeting my fellow Jersean and hero,and for the 2nd time just didn't want to be a burden on the guy since he's given us so much already.Who knows maybe the third time will be a charm and he'll either do a song or better yet play one with me.Then I can die a happy man.

he was w/his daughter and I asked him "so this is your beautiful Jess?"He says "yea yea"and I tell him that I'm the musician who plays here and would he mind signing my "Songs" book jacket"he said "sure,no problem".So.the owner of the club pulls me aside and warns me"look,I don't want you bothering Springsteen when he comes in here"and so I walk by Bruce who was waiting on line and say"I just got yelled at"and he says"I'll sign that for ya later if ya want"and he did.Again I didn't want to be one of those"I play guitar too" guys that Sven can relate to(mostly wannabes who lie to musicians for some reason)so I got the jacket and drove home with it to give to my wife for safekeeping.PS LB Jersey Girls are the best I imported one to Fla w/me and we've been together for 20+ years.
