We took the high speed car ferry across Lake Michigan today!

It took 2.5 hours and the ride was very, very smooth. Went from Milwaukee to Muskegon -- it was great! And so much better than driving through Chicago....

Door County, Wisconsin is very beautiful and the restaurants -- oh my! Did we eat well. Didn't get to a fish boil, though, we have to save that for next time. But, even without that, it was a great trip.

we've done the Badger and enjoyed that. I was looking at the high speed online and oh my, it's expensive. I don't think we'll be doing anything like that this summer.

I'm out of vacation time anyway. I had to use the time I had so I would be paid for the 2 weeks layoff :(

glad you had a good time. We didn't get to a fish boil either when we went.
