I got a free haircut last night! Due to a promotion that I participated in. But, excuse me ....

.... it was a promotion, that didn't go over too well. So the few of us that bought raffle tickets got a haircut without a drawing.

This gal that does haircuts for a living has a punk hairdo, dyed red. I just wanted a trim, and she wanted to do all kinds of funky things with my hair. Scared me half to death! But we settled on her putting "product" on my hair.

I "think" the haircut is okay, but I don't care for the "dippity-doo". Excuse me while I go take a shower and wash this shit outta my hair.

2. I just got out of the shower, and my hair is still wet.

Unfortunately, I am still technically challenged, and have not accomplished a way to do pictures yet. I need to get a photo bucket account, and I think Cox has an account to upload pictures.

I've thought of it often for kitty and puppy pictures. But have never got around to doing it, yet.

I've got the ceiling fan on HIGH, which is the usual way I dry my hair. Fuck the curling irons and blow dryers, I like the wispy and "just laid" look. LOL!

3. I had a free haircut years ago by a man who did hair for International

Vogue.

Worked at a hotel and there was a hair/makeup show going on. They asked for volunteers among the staff. I volunteered, and absolutely LOVED the cut I got, especially because I was pregnant. The cut was beautiful, and very easy to take care of.

And he didn't put goo in my hair. :D

4. Now that my hair is dry, it's looking pretty good!

It's a little funky, but looks better without the "goop".

Do you mind me asking what hotel you were working for? I worked for Consumer Affairs for a high end hotel chain for several years. I'm just curious if it was the same one.

7. When I worked there, it was a stand alone hotel.

Not sure if it's part of any chain now or not.
