Tracy Teens Arrested For Egging Hundreds Of Cars
TRACY, Calif. (CBS13) ― Seven Tracy teenagers could face felony charges after admitting to egging hundreds of cars on a four-week vandalism spree.
Tracy police arrested seven teens for misdemeanor vandalism early Monday morning after getting calls from victims.
Police say the teens confessed to buying 1500 eggs and throwing them at hundreds of cars in neighborhoods all around town over a four-week period.
Several Tracy streets are still littered with broken egg shells from the spree. And many victims say they have minor but permanent damage to the paint on their cars from the eggs.
The DA's office is still investigating and police expect to hear from more victims.
Police say the suspects could get slapped with felony charges if the damage costs get high enough.
