so i'm watching "not as a stranger" on tcm tonight. and one of my favorite character actors ever, whit bissel, is in the cast.
on a lark, i went to imdb to check out his credits (i do that, as i'm watching movies, i'm weird that way.)
whit bissel:

whit bissel appeared in over 200+ movies!
and...
whit bissel was in just about every television show when i was growing up ("wagon train", "perry mason", "i dream of jeannie", "star trek", "the mod squad", "mannix", "marcus welby, m.d.", "barnaby jones", "ironside", "kojak", "the bionic woman", "quincy m.e.", "the dukes of hazzard", "hart to hart", "falcon crest"... and i'm omitting the ones i didn't watch.
whit bissel has like 284 credits on imdb. i've never seen a character actor with such a body of work.
i just wanted to give the much underrated whit bissel a little love tonight. every time you appeared onscreen, mr. bissel, i took notice.
thank you...
