| I passed my thesis defense! |
|
I went up to College Station (yes, I ARE an Aggie LOL) on Thursday and presented to my committee and a few others on Friday. Everything went well; there were some tough questions but it wasn't as bas as I thought it would be. But I passed and that's the last major hurdle to getting my degree. I sent my thesis in to my professors for final approval, so all I have to do know is get all the paperwork done and submit it to the thesis office. Whew!

No good deed goes unpunished I guess. I have to be back at the courthouse; it looks like I might actually see the inside of a courtroom for the first time.

and it took her about 5 years from Masters to Doctorate. I think your 7 years is more than reasonable

| 14. And it's also the maximum amount of time I get. |

After 7 years, your classes start to not count anymore and you basically have to start over because it's taken too long. I guess it's a way to limit perennial students. But 5 years is not unreasonable for a doctorate. Mine is only a MS.

But the real question is what did you decide to wear? You asked us, so we have a right to know!

I wore khaki pants and a short-sleeved shirt. Pretty casual I admit but it was a good thing because it was hotter than the 10th circl of hell up there. And I ended up having to walk all over campus later on.

| 12. How many Aggies does it take to change a light bulb? |
|
Two.
One to hold the latter and another use his lighter to light the filament.

I've got plenty of Aggie jokes.
My boyfriend went to UT for a while and I dared him to wear burnt orange or a UT t-shirt but he thought better of it.
