What a great cartoon!
I know I always saw my dad that way...
It was quite eye-opening to discover that I knew things that he didn't!

I remember seeing my Dad as a super hero. When I was four, I remember waking up extra early so I could surprise my father and eat breakfast with him before one of his deployments (he was in the U.S.A.F.). It was very, very early... before anyone else in the house woke up. This was a big deal, for me, to have my father "all to myself" with a family of six! lol It is one of those "bonding" moments I'll never forget... there are many more, of course. I'm thankful to have my father!
