I've never been one to listen to talk radio because of the right wing nature of all the shows on the AM dial. But I'm liking Mike Malloy tonight. Is he always this wound up? Or is it just the Bush lies that have come to light recently that has him in a mood?

I always make an effort to listen to him. I listen on archives, so then it's down to about 2 hours (I can forward through commericials). He's right up there with Randi Rhodes and Guy James.

it is a shame that he isn't on more radio stations because I like listening to his show more than watching TV.

Thanks to the DU'ers for turning me on to his show (I can only get it on the internet). Loved it last week when he called * a "rat bastard" for his "Bring 'em on" comment.

I sincerely hope all here at DU will support Mike by listening to him and calling your local AM station and asking them to carry his show. He is carried on the affiliates of ieamerica radio network, and he's on Sirius digital satellite radio.

Does anyone know what is up with Nancy Skinner,why her show was taken off ie? I heard a rumor that she is considering a bid for Senator from Illinois and her website is hinting at something big in the works. I still catch her and Anderson on Sundays on WlS. They sometimes fill in for Malloy when he is out.

9. I just called in for the first time last week

And we talked about Strom Thurmond and the anti-Sodomy laws.

I've met Mike Malloy (he came to our October Protest gathering in DC)and he's a really great guy and definately worth the time to listen to, even if it's over the internet.

He'll ask for where you are from, but I did mention that I was from the DU, he's a big fan of ours!
