My grandpa was born 85 years ago today.

My grandpa was born 85 years ago today.
He was skiing in Alta, Utah when Pearl Harbor was bombed. They heard about it on the radio as they were driving down. The next morning, grandpa went an enlisted in the army and spent 7 campaigns fighting in the war. He was on Utah Beach during the Normandy Invasion, went to Belgium, Germany and then linked up with the Soviets in November 1945 before coming home.

He died in March of 2002. He was a great, great man.

I still miss him. :(
