Being, if VH got to the dressing room of the venue, and there were no brown M&Ms, it was pretty safe to think most of the important stuff in the rider would be taken care of, too. Like sound equipment, etc.

apparently each contract stipulated that there was to be a jar of beige M&M's as she entered her hotel. if not, she walked.
the point was to assure that the contract was read and fulfilled.
seems like a damned good idea.
