| Nobody probably saw these great movies |

except me and my puppy.
Door To Door
Beyond Rangoon
Watched them both tonight - they are really impressive movies, for different reasons. Touching.

We watched it on Christmas Day. I wept. Both William H. Macy and Helen Mirren were outstanding. What a great story. Haven't seen Beyond Rangoon, tho.

a military takeover of what used to be Burma (now Myanmar) in the late 80's. It is based on a true story. An American woman becomes involved in the struggle. It is truly fascinating to watch.

| 7. Patricia Arquette was very good in the lead role. |
|
Wasn't it directed by John Boorman, who directed Deliverance, Hope and Glory, Excalibur and the Emerald Forest to name a few?

We rented it a few weeks ago . . . my 12-year old grumbled at first, but he was in tears by the end.
If Beyond Rangoon is that good then we'll rent it next!

I remember Rangoon as very beautiful and dreamy.
Along the lines of Asian revolution, I have a crush on an oldie, "The Seventh Dawn" (William Holden, Capucine, Susannah York).
