9. Well, It not because "I Feel Good"

I think it would probably technically fall into the none of DU business catagory for the most part. I took a break for a week because my brain was processing it all. Let's just say there was someone here (which I talked a little about when we met) that is going through a difficult time and my heart got caught in the crossfire of someone else's emotions. This person said very different things to me than they said about me, on paper in the name of protecting me, but in actuality it protected themselves with their friends here. I think we both just feel stupid for allowing emotions to get ahead of the reality of our respective lives.
Now I feel completely weird being here. It feels like people would rather have the other person back than have me here anyway. And if this makes sense, I give you a medal for dicephering all of it.

there's more than enough room in DU's hearts for both of you. And I have faith that in spite of the sting and the weirdness that both of your are the kinds of exceptional people to deal well with the emotional kerfluffle and move forward.

I hope just hope the other person realizes that if they were here, I'm not going to trash them or otherwise embarrass them about anything that was personal between the two of us. This is about as far as I'll go in discussing it publically really. I hold no ill feelings along with my hurt because I truly understand the difficulties in the life of the other person and care about them very much even if neither of us have any sense of appropriate timing. Every once in awhile in life, even in the case of rational individuals, one's "Id" takes over and decides to control us for a time.
