He got up to give Jack "some privacy" (the reading was just to start the conversation with Jack so he would read Locke's note) and Ben just walked towards the cabin. He disappeared off screen but there were no seats to sit in.

So, one day off from being exactly 50 years since the photo was taken. There is definitely some significance there. My guess is the photo was taken one day after someone's arrival to the island, meaning someone else got to the island exactly 50 year prior to the crash of the LOSTies.

21. So I think the original Oceanic flight

was not an accident. Someone tried very hard to make sure that Jake's dad's body was on the plane so that he would get on the island just like Jack did today with Locke's body.

And isn't it kind of weird that this show started the same way that the first one did. Nobody ever knew how Jack got out in the jungle from the plane crash. Maybe today's episode is meant to shed some light on that.

And motherfuckin' Jin! I was sure it was going to be Mr. "Workman" getting out of the van, but shit!
