That's when I started watching games in my home in Manomet, MA. One might say I was born one.

Yaz was my childhood hero (last one to get that Triple Crown...look it up). Still is, really. Didn't know you were referring to the Buckner episode. See, we left that behind us in 2004 and then really buried it in 2007. Besides, champs or not, Sox fans love the Sox regardless. No bandwagon in Boston.

Yaz was quality; Yaz was old school. Same with Pudge. Actually, one of my favorite players in the league right now is Tim Wakefield.

Lessee..... in 1986, the Metrodome was 2 years old, and Kirby Puckett was an all-star for the first time (my favorite player). He and I were about a month apart in age....
