Do you ever look at a photograph/movie from a previous decade, the '70's, '60's, maybe even '50's, and you know intellectually that it was a long time ago, decades ago, but somehow, to you, it doesn't seem old-timey?

I have my grandfather's high school graduation pictures and he looks, if not old, then at least like an adult. I look at mine and I look about 12.
