| WOO HOO! My local beer shop got some Dogfish Head brew! |
|
I'm in SoCal, so this is a big deal since Dogfish Head is a regional brewer in Delaware.
In case you're not familiar with them, they are at the cutting edge of the "extreme beer" movement. They make IPAs that are dry-hopped for 30, 60 and 90 minutes, respectively. They also do unusual fruit beers, an unusual historical brew called Midas Touch (which includes muscat grapes, honey and saffron), and an IPA and a stout which are INCREDIBLY high in alcohol content (like in the neighborhood of 18%; a bottle of that for me, a bottle for Mrs. Arbusto, some Depends, and our evening is set...)
I'm heading over there after work!

Hop additions every minute 60-90-120 minutes of brew time. They had 120 on tap last time I went to their pub. Damn that was good and packed a wollop. Pretty smooth for a young barley wine and really snuck up on me.

| 2. I stand corrected. Not really an IPA fan myself, though. |

More of a malt man. I have to try some of their stuff, though, whatever it is this place will have when I arrive...

| 4. I don't even know which ones the store will be stocking. The e-mail mentioned 4 different ones... |
|
And I don't care which 4, but I'll be there, nonetheless....
