That being posted, as a straight, nearly 30 year old female, I raise an eyebrow at anyone who has had more sexual partners than they've had birthdays. (Which is most people.) Doesn't mean I couldn't love someone who had a high number of partners, but it would make me want to ask a few (polite) questions about mental health, attitude about relationships, commitment, etc., before allowing myself to get seriously involved.

In reality, a number is just that... a number. I don't want to know how many she's had and I won't say how many I've had. In both our cases it's above average.

We'll discuss situations, funny ones, painful ones, hurtful ones, but never total ones.

Sometimes, for me, ANY is too many because, as we're in our mid-50's it wasn't me. It took us far too long and too much pain to find each other.

And of course I do NOT say that. And our roads got us to where we are now.
