Maybe if I didn't shave for like a month I'd have some growth, but for the most part, my face only gets little stubs and a few long hairs poking out.

Years ago, when I was chasing her, my (then future) wife basically said "lose the facial hair or lose your chances with me."

I shaved and have been shaving ever since. I love my wife more than I hate shaving, so I have to accept it I guess.

Guard weekends he has no choice. Sometimes he'll go with a goatee (he looks really good with it) or just unshaven until he can't stand the itch anymore.

I have a thin beard that doesn't really grow evenly. I do have normal testosterone levels though. It's just how the beard grows.

I know it's supposed to be an old wives tale, but hair does actually seem to grow more the more you cut it. My facial hair didn't really seem to start growing in until I started shaving everyday for work.

Yer SOL. My 5 brothers all have varying luck at growing facial hair. All of them have patchy hair, it's very slow growing, and they all look like this poor miners if they try for a full beard.
