Chelsea will have two new captains when they take on Club America on July 26: country music stars Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood.

Brooks and Yearwood will be representing the Teammates for Kids Foundation, in affiliation with Chelsea's global charity partner, Right To Play.

Speaking about the honour, Brooks said, "I am fortunate to be involved in a worldwide, sports-affiliated charity, Teammates for Kids.

"And if I had my wish, it would be that our charity has the same goals, passion and dedication for helping all children as Chelsea’s charity partner Right To Play.

"Connecting the two charities at a world-class soccer event helps bring recognition to the importance of helping children through sports."

Will Ferrel had been named 'captain' for Chelsea's last game, against AC Milan. The winner of this match will win the World Football Challenge.
