| i'm having one of those days where i'm amazed anyone could possibly want to marry me |
|
crabby, contrary, difficult, impatient and ungrateful.
for example, rather than be grateful that the almost husband offered to cook me dinner tonight, i was a bit grumpy at him that it wasn't in the oven or almost ready to be so when i got home. then i got irritated with him at the grocery store because a $20 trip turned into $60 trip. the other people there must think i'm an awful bitch.
yes, i have apologized profusely and am sitting on the porch so he can cook in peace. i just wish i knew why i feel so foul this evening.

It will be OK. Forgive yourself, he probably already did.
You can go to the store for $60? I can't get out of there under $100.

| 2. What's a $20 trip to the grocery store? |
|
You might be hallucinating. Maybe none of this really happened. There is no such thing as a $20 trip there. Not any more.
You're just having an episode of Step On My Own Dick. It happens to everyone. Have a drink, get high, enjoy dinner, get down and dirty with the man, and forget about it.
Just try not to do it again............................

| 3. god, there are so many times I can't get out of my own damn way |

and end up being the world's biggest bitch to my very mellow, even-tempered husband.
I have no idea where it comes from either, other than prolonged, incredible stress (that we're both under).
Relax. Just try to be in the moment. It's OK.

| 4. I can be a pretty cranky person sometimes |
|
and I have a hot quick temper that I inherited from my dad. It's something I've had to learn to overcome on a daily basis. It's better now and I think the one thing that helped me is this: The fact that since we've known each other, I can look at my husband and know without a doubt how much we love each other, it gives me a few seconds to breath and think about that before I let what's bothering me turn into something it needn't.
The best advice for a peaceful and peace-filled marriage is to pick your battles. Don't turn the little things into big things. Be thankful that he's dripping coffee all over the house instead of being the cheating ass that you could have ended up with.
I wish you peace as you replace your anxieties with the full realization of the love you bear for your SO.
