45. Our family was at Disneyland once when things got ugly in a line.

There was a biker gang on one side of us and people who appeared to be Eastern European mobsters on the other side. The Eastern Europeans were cutting the line and the bikers didn't like it.

There were two Disneyland employees nearby, 19 years old if that, and I saw them go pale and freeze like they were thinking, "Oh shit... I know they told us what to do but I wasn't paying attention..."

The first thing I did was toss our kids over the fence and then I hopped over and took us away to a safe distance. My wife was mama grizzly angry and she and a few other courageous peacekeepers forced themselves between the two groups and kept them apart until Disney security arrived. Things were still hot when my wife slipped out of the crowd and we got out of there as quick as we could.
