An interesting experience. Not great exactly, but not terrible either.
Several are unemployed (I'm in MI), or have been, after working in other states - and are now at home with parents. A few were well settled with kids and they seemed very happy so that was great.
Ultimately, I think the most important thing I got from it is to try to be positive regardless of circumstances. No, the experiences you have won't all be happy. Sometimes they will downright suck (and God, I'll tell you I have a million bad ones), but pull through and things may get better.
I spoke to my dad afterward and he went to a great school (unlike myself), and he mentioned how some are doing well and others so-so. People just have to do what they are passionate in and strive.
