The Criterion edition on DVD, directed by Kurosawa, starring the incomparable Toshiro Mifune, one of the finest actors of all time.
Wow.
Wow.
And again.
That is a film that changes one's perspective on film and reality. The direction, the cinematography, acting, scripting, everything, just flawless.
I still don't know who was telling the truth, and doubt I ever will.
Opinions, from fellow Kurosawa/Mifune fans?

Great athletic performance by Mifune, and that part where the medium channels the dead guy, her hair rustling in a non-existent breeze, gives me the chills.

That voice is still freaking me out.
Mifune is just a god, isn't he? I can't get over how good an actor he is.

He really stepped up when Duncan missed those 12 games with a bum knee.
