since its inception. I, for one, like their products - and appreciate their support for many non-profit enterprises in wisconsin.

Being gay myself, the use of the word "family" in the media is used by people who aren't gay-friendly or gay-tolerant.

Gays already have a fairly receptive audience here. Why continue to jeopardize that by viewing everything through a sexual orientation prism. You know, maybe a cigar is just a cigar. Maybe they just simply are a family-owned company and proud of that. And more power to them if they, as a company and family, are philanthropic. Why throw dirt for the sake of soiling the rug?
If you're concerned enough to raise the question, why not do some homework. Find out whether they are actively unfriendly to gays. Do they discriminate gays in their personnel practices or in their product development and marketing? Until then, get off your high horse.
