I heard from greenbriar today! Today has been a good one...

She has Crohn's Disease, you know...

She has had 5 rounds of chemo so far. The next round will be in 2 weeks. For the moment, it seems that the chemical route is working. She has gained back 20 lbs, after having lost almost 50 between Nov/Dec. She's back to a healthy 115 lbs. and this week she's had less pain since last July.

It's been happening slowly and she didn't really even notice until one of her students today commented that she was back. It made her really happy! She hadn't realized how much the pain would change her...

She worked with the students this year so they got to know her and her style before she got sick.

Her student's comment today made her stop and think and then thank God for this upturn.

She really appreciates everyone's good thoughts and prayers!
