There was this program, called Juke Box where you selected the year and it listed all the hits for that year and you could then play them. I saw it at a friends house and wish I would have found where she got it from.

But I've also got a pretty good memory for music because, like so many people, I relate life memories to music.

I think the '60's music is my favorite, but the '70's is a very close second, if not equal.

8. I just sent Black Pearl to a facebook friend last night who loves classic soul

but wasn't familiar with it. On my short list for most beautiful ,soulful song ever put on vinyl....And did you know that Skeeter Davis's nephew is a DUer?

When I took my oldest son & his high school friends to the movies, I had a cassette tape playing of some oldies I had taped. The beginning of "I Can't Stay Mad At You" had played & my son ejected it (thinking my music wasn't cool enough), & the other kids loved it & wanted to hear the whole song!

And "Black Pearl" is awesome. On the old NBC Letterman show, Paul Shaeffer used to play it, along with a lot of Motown.
