Richard Davis article in local news paper-pisses me off

This man who is the president of Washington Research Council/Washington Alliance for a Competitive Economy wrote an article in a local paper with a header of "Lawmakers shouldn't promise what state can't afford". This man has a nice home, he is warm, has medical/dental care, plenty to eat and tells the victims of capitalism that they should just suffer.
If capitalism is so wonderful there would be no need to help people with their basic needs to live. A famous wise man once said "by their fruits you will know them". The fruits of this system has tormented some to sucicide,their health in serious condition (even death),families living in cars and shelters.
This is a Christian nation? I doubt it with what I see happening in this nation.
