It's an hour into it, but its still worth watching if you've never seen it. Classic noir PLUS the cheese factor of Charlton Heston playing a Mexican.

Orson Welles was a fucking great filmmaker. I almost like Touch of Evil better than Citizen Kane.

It just breaks my heart to see what 'they' (Wm Randolph Hearst and 'the establishment') did to him ... he was so brilliant and as good an actor as film maker ... you can see from how he looks that he's practically a broken man (despite the character he's playing)by this point.
The Third Man is my FAVE Welles film.
