The first three albums...Children of the Future (April 1968), Sailor (October 1968), Brave New World (June 1969)...are what I'd call "classic rock."

But starting with "The Joker" (1973) and bullshit tracks like "Shu Ba Da Du Ma Ma Ma Ma," Miller revealed his true self...an ingrown hair on the taint of "serious" rock musicians everywhere.

I primarily dismiss this guy for ripping off Joe Walsh's "Rocky Mountain Way" in his sound-alike album track "The Stake."

10. Ah, "The Lamb". I wore out three vinyl copies. I know it pretty much word-for-word.

I also had the pleasure of seeing The Musical Box recreate the entire production - with all 1200 or so slides for the 3-screen show behind the band and full costumes including the Slipperman.

Damn was that an experience.

The band, who hardly anyone knew, was called Cats in Boots.

THe first one in this song is a straight rhyme that I find amusing, and the second is a weird one, also amusing:

In the Cats in Boots song, "Evil Angel," the rhyme goes:

Then after another line, an odder rhyme:

And from another Cats in Boots song, "Judas Kiss":
