He knows who does what for him. And he still hasn't forgiven me for the way I found him - in the lower back with the weed-whacker after he had just came out of hibernation to munch on the vegetation back there this spring... (no damage to him other than a few scrapes on the shell, but he still hisses at me and tucks in) We think he was someone's run-away or got-lost Russian Tortoise from a year or so ago.

I used to do some illustration for a friend that self-published children's paper books a long time ago. I 'spose I can try to write a children's book that doesn't read like Moby Dick... :)
