Yikes!!! Irene is giving me the hairy eye! I'm in Southwestern

New Hampshire and I don't think there's been a hurricane up here since the one in 1938 that tracked up the Connecticut River but this one looks like it's heading right this way. I imagine the storm will lose some punch as it gets over colder water and then land but the forecast up here is calling for heavy winds and damaging winds especially in the "higher elevations." That's me! Even my dogs are acting spooked. They are very sensitive the changes in pressure. They should be basket cases by Sunday. Oh joy!
