| When you first got beyond candy and had an allowance what did you repeatedly buy? I bought |
|
Bonniebell lipsmakers. Orange was my favourite. I would go directly to the Bay if I had any money.

Make-up, clothes, hair stuff, junk jewelry, perfume, etc. And yeah, Bonnie Bell lipsmackers... I remember them well. I think my favorite was raspberry or something like that. There was also some kind of gooey sticky lip gloss that had sparkles in it that was a big hit when I was that age.

| 10. I would save it up for the state fair! |
|
The fair came every year and with it, carnival rides, animal exhibits, fried food on a stick and people from all over the state.

my "allowance" was gleaned from newsboys, with the aid of the ubiquitous "alley-apple" so common in south St. Louis streets.

|
I was late to the hippy game, but I LONGED to be one.
Unfortunately, I was born in '59 and missed most of it.
I would have preferred to graduate in '67 instead of '77......

1.) It was the 1990s. 2.) I was a bad-ass jock. 3.) I really liked cosmopolitans. 4.) For some odd reason the girls in my class liked to smoke cigars.
