... you know... the one you keep meaning to call or have lunch with, but never do? Do you you know who I am talking about?

Please call that person. Right now.

I just found out that someone I used to work with and was friends with -- somebody I had sort of lost track of over the past couple years -- killed herself in the last couple days. Her body was found yesterday.

I can't express how much that sucks. I have been in touch with some mutual friends today and we are all in shock.

Don't take for granted that everybody is just OK. Some of them aren't.
