"Wonderfalls" Cancelled

Just realized tonight that a little gem of a show, Wonderfalls, was cancelled by Fox. Did anyone else catch this show -- there were only four Neilson-challenged episodes -- and did anyone else enjoy it half as much as me?

I hate when networks pull a "Freaks and Geeks," meaning they lure you into an original and brilliant program, only to sabatoge and then prematurely abandon it. I am awaiting the cancellation of "Arrested Development" next.

1. Mid-Season replacements are virtually doomed from the start

It didn't help that FOX spent little advertising this show. It looked halfway decent.

Arrested Development is a hilarious show. I think Ron Howard can afford this show up.

2. Mrs. Tripper and I watched it and quite enjoyed it.

We liked the actress and the quirkiness of the show.

Given half a chance and a better time slot, I think it could have easily been a big hit.

What a shame.

3. We really liked that show, too

Very quirky, sort of like the 'Dead Like Me' star meets 'Tru Calling'. I missed it tonight after Tru Calling.

4. that really is a good show . . .

those idiot network execs don't give new shows time to develop an audience . . . I think this one's had about six episodes shown, and it's buried in the Friday night lineup when many people are doing things other than tubing . . . guess if it's not a makeover show or the Donald firing someone, it's not worth fighting for . . . too bad . . . I used to live in Niagara Falls and loved the setting, as well as the characters and the stories . . .

5. Cancelled?

You sure? Fox said last week that the show was being moved to Thurs. 9pm...makes sense that Fox would wait till apprentice is done to continue showing. Fox had glowing reviews for this show...thats why I figured they moved it to Thurs.

All the shows I like get cancelled. Some sooner than later....
