| I have a backache and I'm on drugs: Ask me anything! |
|
I've had this horrible backache for almost 3 weeks now, finally I get an MRI on Monday. Meanwhile, my doctor gave me Oxycodone for the pain which has me just a bit loopy
Hopefully the MRI will show what's going on back there, and I can go back to being drug free soon!

| 3. No, but I thought about getting a housekeeper to score for me! |
|
First, I'd have to hire her based on her drug connections alone!!

Pick up a novel, I suggest fiction. Heavy duty painkillers can give some people an amazing capacity to read. You might suprise yourself with the volume you could ingest.

I just had back surgery and am taking pain killers. When I try to read, I tend to keep reading the same sentence over and over again!

| 6. Mind if I ask how your surgery went? |
|
What was the problem? I have heard back surgery is risky, but if it is done right it can be a miracle. Hope you are up and about soon, was state wanderer!

The L4-L5 disk had a piece broken off and "floating" and had to be removed. In physical therapy now and it hurts. Pain is worse than before surgery, but hoping it will improve.

| 7. What painkillers do that? |
|
For starters, I've done my fair share of drugs but the few times I took painkillers all they do is make me weak, nauseous and sleepy.
