Central OHIO DU'ers - emergency MoveOn meeting TODAY in Clintonville....

10/22/04 In Clintonville (Franklin County) south of North Broadway, 2901 North High Street, second floor above Denise's Homemade Ice Cream, you will see the MoveOn sign, park in the Giant Eagle lot. Meeting times are 2:00 and 7:30, ask for Josh.

Goal - to contact Democrats who have not been out to vote for a while to try to get them to the polls. About an hour meeting, and you will be provided with the names, phone numbers, addresses, etc. You can choose to contact them in person or by phone. Josh told me they will have arrangements in place for transportation to polls, and even to provide in-home babysitting or temporary home health care, if needed.

Anyone interested in helping Ohio go blue, try to make it. If not, PM me with your interest before 4:00 today.

1. Got a call from MoveOn this morning

Can't help at this time, but told her there are three registered voters at this house and all Kerry voters! (I'm in the greater Columbus area)

2. They called me last night

I know you are busy here, when I mentioned to MoveOn I was a DU member, the "impressed" sound came from the mouth of a 24 year old...thrilled that an old lady like me (44) was cool enough to know about and be involved in DU.

And, let's see if I do this right (my family was originally from Scotland, then through Ireland, involved in the Londonderry seige, and in prison in Ireland as part of their uprising in the homeland. Landed here in the mid 1600's....
