| Will Pitt Bay Area get together thread |
|
doing these pm's is to much ..I must start a thread on this .
Okay the ideas are flying fast and furious .
Great quaint french sidewalk Cafe' in SF
a BBQ/Bar in the Height SF allows smoking in the back
Susan Macdougal at Cody's Saturday Night in berkeley with lots of places within walking distance of Cody's
So far we have 9 for sure and 2 maybe's
with a few yet to get back to me .
Will is away from his computer right now but my phone number has been left on his voice messege machine . Hopefully everything will come together.

I missed Susan last time she was in the area... hell is that where the book tour is? Palast was there recently too
:bounce:
I should stress that while the BBQ place in the Haight allows smoking, it does NOT allow tobacco...
I guess ultimately it's up to Will and how burned out he is by then, but count me in! :-)

but Berkeley is much easier for me. It's closer and the parking is much better. I love Susan MacDougal, also. I'll be there wherever we decide.

I just want to make sure that the evening is about what interests Will.
Personally, the only thing I do hope the evening involves is some sort of quieter, sit down and chat portion.

hell his hotel is right up the road from Harrington's, but they have no food, and many might be ready for a new theme than the Irish Pub thing...

restaurants/bars over on Polk and in that area - including a great trannie bar that is VERY interesting. :)
There's also Tommy's Joint just a few blocks from the hotel -- food and spirits abound. Scratch that - just checked the map and it is directly across the street from the hotel. Also we're just four blocks from the California Street cable car line -- could be fun to take a ride to Chinatown.
