who is a tax account had a meeting with the IRS and Jen's Mom. The IRS agent didn't want to discuss this rationally, and they want all of the money that the family doesn't owe.
They need a good tax attorney now, amongst other things. The problem of course is the cost, and Jen is hoping that activism might help in defraying that.

This is awful. Their poor mother -- to work hard at three jobs and they still want to apply these insanely inflated fees. I don't know how I would hold up in the same situation.
I signed the petition, of course.
Let us know how this progresses.
